Sometimes a band pops up out of nowhere and hits you in the head like a
can of Twisted Tea.
Sabbath-like riffs. Clean vocals. And a rhythm section chugging along like a steam engine.
Sleeping Village is that band keeping the spirit of '70's doom alive. JimSim
I'm guessing that Wolf Counsel have been heavily influenced by the likes of Hour of 13, Briton Rites and Seamount - the singer sounds very much like Phil Swanson and the meaty, heavy-riffing songs have also come out of the same stable as those venerable doom metal stallions. If you're doubtful then try the title track - doom metal heaven! Sonny92
